Invitation-letter guidance for participants who require a visa to enter Italy.
Invitation letter eligibility
Participants requiring a visa may request an official Letter of Invitation from the Conference Secretariat.
Letters will be issued only to participants who have either completed conference registration or submitted an abstract for consideration.
How to request a letter
Email info@frpm2027.com and include:
- Full name exactly as it appears in your passport.
- Affiliation and postal address.
- Passport number, nationality and date of birth.
- A scanned copy of the passport identification page.
- The title of your submitted abstract, if applicable.
Invitation letters are normally issued within five working days and sent by email as a PDF.
Apply well in advance
Visa processing times vary by country of application. Participants should contact the relevant Italian Embassy or Consulate to verify requirements and current processing times.
An invitation letter supports an application but does not guarantee that a visa will be issued.
What the letter does not cover
The invitation letter does not commit the organisers to provide financial support or cover registration, travel, accommodation or any other expenses. The final visa decision rests exclusively with the relevant Italian diplomatic authorities.
